‘Only’ took two hours to get thru the line!

Killed two birds with one stone.

✅ Got my vote on and got a nifty pen.

🌞 ...and got that #melanin poppin’ even more!

8️⃣ Tips to make your #voting experience more pleasant.

🗳 Early #vote if you can. You are going to have to wait regardless. Some waited for more than 4 hours, I waited for two. Actual election day is gonna be offfff the chaaaaiiinnn!

🗳 Bring your completed early ballot directly to the drop-off before election day. Those folks didn't have to wait in line and the ballot box was manned.

🗳 Pack your patience + snacks + water.
-There was an annoying lady screaming at the crowd - she was carried away.🗣
- This man kept blowing his vape smoke in a brother's face...he asked him to stop. He didn't.😒But the security guard came and quelled it

🗳 Go with a friend so you can take turns for a stretch, sit, or potty break.
- Wear comfy shoes. My back still hurts.
- Be sure your phone is fully charged.

🗳 Dress in layers. Be sure to check the weather over the course of that day.

🗳 Bring your ID (make sure it hasn't expired) AND your voter registration card.

🗳 Take lots of pics/videos to document for future generations because regardless of how it turns out...it will go down in history.

🙏🏽 More than all of that, pray, pray, pray! Connect with whoever you call God (the Creator, the Universe, Jesus, the Ancestors) because we need ALL of the help we can get!
