As the mom of a pretty cool adult-kid, Wendi is now enjoying the second phase of her life as the Global Tour Manager for Maximum Impact Travel connecting the African diaspora worldwide. A dream she manifested over more than three decades allowing her to mix her passion for travel, wellness and all things Black!

A proud HBCU alum and 30-year entertainment industry vet, Wendi started her career at the World-Famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY in 1993.
A Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, producer, and host of The Sanctuary Radio Show on DCRadio.gov, I have been featured locally and internationally, including on 89.3-WPFW, 93.9-WKYS, 96.3-WHUR, and 104.2-Elle’FM, in West Africa. I am also a contributing writer for the AARP Sisters Newsletter and The Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

On April 29, in State House, Freetown, I along with 59 other African Americans who traced their origin to Sierra Leone through the African Ancestry DNA test were conferred Sierra Leonean citizenship by His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio. Read more about this historic moment!
