The Butta-Fly Is ::I::!

I’m changing, yo! Stretching, growing, expanding, developing…and this “ish” ain’t easy. Maturing is not a game.  Once I turned the Big 4-0, I decided that things needed to change.  I couldn’t keep doing the same things the same way expecting a different result – isn’t that called “insanity”?  Well, the way my one last nerve is set up, I knew I needed drastic change.  I entered into a self-imposed,  cocoon-like atmosphere of reflection + renewal + revelation and began questioning old thought patterns and beliefs.

I had to find my WHY, my PURPOSE, my CALLING, my DESTINY; the REASON why {{{THE CREATOR}}} decided that I needed to enter this realm at this exact time in history. I lost interest in things that had once held my attention and taken up so much time.  I began praying more but not in the traditional Christian way; I began to meditate and those times I #StayedWoke, I had real breakthroughs. I started not giving two f***s about what other people thought.  I started attracting new people with infectious energy who shared new (to me) revelations for me to consider, they liked similar music + clothing + food and made me feel safe in their presence.

Recently, I was praying to manifest butterflies into my space. I was testing out the concept that what you speak into existence will manifest… eventually. Over the course of two weeks, I saw ONE. Dang. Butterfly. *sucks teeth*  I was getting frustrated and at that exact moment, I decided to take the “Spirit Animal” test (try it!) and wouldn’t ya know it – ::I AM:: a BUTTA-FLY!  

The Symbolism of the Butta-Fly

In the past five years, I have experienced or am experiencing all of the things below:

• Powerful transformation, metamorphosis in my life, personality – yep!
• Moving through different life cycles – check!
• Renewal, rebirth – true, true!
• Lightness of being, playfulness – indeed!
• Elevation from earthly matters, tuning into emotional or spiritual – no doubt!

That’s when I realized The BUTTA-FLY is ::I::!

Lesson: Once I stopped looking for things outside of myself and realize ::I AM:: whole, perfectand complete; what I desire will manifest right before my eyes!
